Štěpán Machač, MD, Ph.D.

Head Physician

Štěpán Machač, MD, Ph.D. is the leading physician at the IVF Clinic, where he has been working since 2012. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Palacky University in Olomouc, general medicine. He has a certificate in reproductive medicine and also holds a first- and second-degree certificate in gynaecology and obstetrics. He gained his professional experience as an IVF specialist at Reprofit International and Unica Brno. He has completed internships in Cambridge, UK and also in Orense, Spain. He is the author or co-author of more than 30 lectures and 40 articles in professional journals and a chairman of the Committee of the Section of Assisted Reproduction of the Czech Gynaecological and Obstetrical Society and a member of European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.

Petr Vrublovský, MD

Physician

Petr Vrublovský, MD, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Palacky University in Olomouc. In 2013, he got the core specialisation in gynaecology and obstetrics and in 2015 he obtained the European certificate in gynaecology and obstetrics. He gained his professional experience at the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the Sternberk Hospital (where he still works) and also at G-CENTRUM in Olomouc. He is a member of the Section of Assisted Reproduction of the Czech Gynaecological and Obstetrical Society and a member of the Czech Medical Chamber.

Veronika Kučerová, MD

Physician

Veronika Kučerová, MD, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Palacky University in Olomouc, general medicine. In 2016, she obtained a certificate in gynaecology and obstetrics. Her previous professional experience includes working at the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the Sternberk Hospital, where you can still meet her. She is a member of the Czech Medical Chamber and other professional organizations.

Olga Koutná, MD

Physician

Olga Koutná, MD, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Palacky University in Olomouc, general medicine. She gained her professional experience at the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the Bohumín Hospital and at Fertimed clinic. She is a member of the Czech Medical Society of J. E. Purkyně, the Czech Gynaecology and Obstetrics Society and the Czech Medical Chamber.

Veronika Klát Lattová, MD, Ph.D.

Physician

Veronika Lattová, MD, Ph.D. has been working as a physician at the IVF Clinic since 2020. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Palacky University in Olomouc. In 2011, she obtained a second-degree certificate in gynaecology and obstetrics. In 2019, she obtained her Ph.D. and in 2021 she received a certificate in reproductive medicine. She gained her professional experience at the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the University Hospital Ostrava and the University Hospital Olomouc. She also works as a physician in the Amgynola outpatient clinic.

Barbora Knittlová, MD

Physician

Barbora Knittlová, MD, successfully completed her studies at the medical faculty of the Palacký University in Olomouc in 2014. After her studies, she joined the Přerov Hospital, where you can still meet her today. She also teaches at the Emanuel Pöttig Secondary and Higher Professional Medical School. She obtained the gynecology-obstetrics qualification in 2016, and is a member of the Czech Medical Chamber.

Matúš Ludvik, MD

Physician

Matúš Ludvik, MD, graduated from the medical faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc. After completing his studies, he joined the Šumperk Hospital as a secondary physician in the obstetrics and gynecology department. In 2021, he obtained the gynecology-obstetrics course and currently works at the Šternberk Hospital and the U.S.G. Pol Prenatal Center in Olomouc. He is a member of the Czech Medical Chamber.

Ivana Marková, MD, Ph.D.

Physician

Ivana Marková, MD, Ph.D. successfully completed her studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the Palacký University in Olomouc in 2000, she certified in the field of Gynecology and Obstetrics in 2003 and in the field of Medical Genetics in 2008. She received her Ph.D. degree at the Faculty of Medicine of the Palacký University in Olomouc in 2010. Besides our clinic, she also works at the G-center in Olomouc. She is a member of the Czech Medical Chamber.

Andrea Nesvadbová, MSc

Head of the laboratory

Andrea Nesvadbová, MSc, is the head of the embryology and andrology laboratory. She has been working at the IVF Clinic since 2012. She graduated from the CZU in Prague, where she completed specialization studies in clinical biochemistry and sexology. In 2019 she obtained a certificate in clinical embryology. She gained her professional experience at the Maternity Hospital of the University Hospital Brno, as well as at the Helios Sanatorium and Reprofit International. She is a member of the Association of Reproductive Embryology and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.

General Nurses

Helena Mogrovics

Head nurse

Helena Mogrovics has been the head nurse of the IVF Clinic since 2012. She gained her professional experience at the intensive care unit of the Third Department of Internal Medicine of the University Hospital Olomouc, at the gynaecological outpatient clinic of the G-centre and at the genetic outpatient clinic of U.S.G.POL. She graduated from the Secondary Medical School in Olomouc as a nurse of general medicine. Afterwards, she completed specialization studies in the field of anaesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care.
